Then, open the gas cylinder and hold a glass under the head of the glass freezer. With your other hand, press the head down for a few seconds. Thanks to the carbon dioxide, the glass cools down to about -15⁰C within seconds, creating a thin layer of ice on the glass. Glasses are also immediately sterilised during the freezing process. This glass freezer is very robust. The aluminium construction of the appliance increases its lifespan and allows it to withstand intensive daily use.
